Growth | Renewal | Creativity

Meaning “bright fire” in Gaelic, Beltane is a celebration of spring, where flowers are blooming, the weather is warming, the days are longer, and we look forward to summer, and the fertility of the earth, crops, and life. Many use this time as a fire celebration with bonfires to cleanse away negative energies and bring good luck.

As we celebrate the fertility of earth and life around us, it symbolizes color, blossoms, and vitality, which you will find in the "
Beltane Blessings" crystal soap, featuring a genuine garnet crystal and flowers to symbolize renewal and vitality, varying with pomegranate flowers, calendula blossoms, globe amaranths, and peonies. Each bar is also decorated with a dusting of gold glitter to represent Beltane fire celebrations.

A scent story of dahlias, cherry blossom, jasmine, crisp pear, grape, bergamot, citrus, dark musk, and herbal greens.

Garnet –boost vitality, passion, and abundance, while increasing happiness, gratitude, and patience.

All soaps are created using the cold process method of soap making, using nourishing organic oils and butters to pamper your skin, and always cured for the minimum of 4 weeks for the best, long lasting bar. Learn about soap curing and why it's important here.

Specifics

As bars are hand-cut, expect slight variations in weight, with each bar weighing approximately 4.5-5 oz.

Due to the handmade nature and use of natural ingredients, there may be slight color/design variations from batch to batch and colors may fade over time. This does not affect the efficacy of the soap in any way.

The Ritual

Decorate your home for Beltane with your favorite flower wreaths, bouquets, or garlands. Hold or set your crystals onto your altar while meditating. Walk your property or spend time in nature to give thanks and ask for protection in the coming year.

Soap Care

Handcrafted soaps are naturally rich in glycerin. Glycerin is a humectant that attracts water to your skin. While that's wonderful for your body, it does require a little extra care of your soap.

Allow your soap to dry naturally by storing it on a draining soap dish or rack. This allows air to circulate around it and prolongs its lifespan. Keep your soap out of direct stream of water or submerged in water for too long. Unused soaps should be stored in a cool, dry place.

Botanical tops are for decoration. Remove the star anise from your soap bar before use as this is more abrasive than smaller botanicals. Should you have any concerns with botanicals and your drains, gently brush off prior to use.

All products are handcrafted in small batches, sourced locally when possible, and working with trusted, reputable suppliers. Organic oils and butters are always chosen for highest quality and Fair Trade whenever available.
